Abstract
This
session will describe Smart Systems for Health Agency s role in
implementing e-Health in Ontario. SSHA was created in 2003 to
electronically connect healthcare professionals to each other and to
patient information across the healthcare system. It s IT
infrastructure products and services are built for the healthcare
sector and are being widely adopted. Its network and e-mail products are
increasingly being used as the way for the healthcare sector to share patient
information electronically. SSHA is contributing essential elements of Ontario
s Electronic Health Record. Find out where SSHA is in its role as Ontario
s e-Health enabler.
