Abstract

This session will describe Smart Systems for Health Agency's role in implementing e-Health in Ontario. SSHA was created in 2003 to electronically connect healthcare professionals to each other and to patient information across the healthcare system. Its IT infrastructure products and services are built for the healthcare sector and are being widely adopted. Its network and e-mail products are increasingly being used as the way for the healthcare sector to share patient information electronically. SSHA is contributing essential elements of Ontario's Electronic Health Record. Find out where SSHA is in its role as Ontario's e-Health enabler.
