About the infraNET Project
The University of Waterloo, an
established leader in innovative approaches in computing, has many
active research projects related to Internet applications. The infraNET
Project was established to provide a focus for these activities, to
extend this exciting research environment to business, government and education
through partnerships, and to make the results broadly accessible.
Project Mission

application research and development at the University
- to coordinate access to appropriate
computing and other resources for project research
- to encourage collaboration with and among
our partners
- to develop and deploy tools and
techniques that enhance the use of the Internet
